Jean Bosco Ntabana is the Ag. Chief Shared Services Officer and Head of Human Resources and Administration at the Agaciro Development Fund (AgDF). Prior to these positions, he worked as a Fundraising Manager, since March 2015. When he joined the Fund, he coordinated the fundraising initiatives with public institutions, private companies, cooperatives and non-profit organizations in Northern, Western Eastern Provinces and in Kigali City’s Districts (Gasabo and Nyarugenge), and that have helped and bolstered the growth of the AgDF growth.
He has gained extensive experience in management, leadership and team building, strategic and operations. Over the years, Jean Bosco has also gained experience in community mobilization and marketing, fundraising, relationship building and negotiation, which he gained from working with different organizations including ADK, Unguka bank Ltd, SWATTACE.CO.LTD, RPF Inkotanyi, USG PLC and Agaciro Development Fund- The Rwanda Sovereign Wealth Fund.
Jean Bosco Ntabana holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Finance and Accounting which he obtained from the University of Kigali-UoK, Rwanda.
He has done various executing leadership trainings with ICPAR-Rwanda, PMI - Project Management Program (PMP), Strategy and Operations and Leadership and Team Development by IBMI- German, Investment and Funds Management, by Crown Agents-London, UK and John Maxwell, USA; International Financial Reporting Standards: IFRS 7,9,13,15 and 16: Feb 2020 by PWC and more.
He has been with Agaciro Development Fund, the Rwanda Sovereign Wealth Fund since March 2015. He has served the Fund in different capacities. From December 2020 to date, Ag. Chief Shared Services Officer, February 2020 till now a Head HR & Administration, April 2017 to February 2020, Fundraising Manager, March 2015 to March 2017, Fundraising Officer.
Since he joined the AgDF in 2015, he has outstandingly contributed to the company portfolio size growth rising from 20.5 billion Rwandan francs when in 2015 to 54 billion Rwandan francs in 2020 after 5years only, before the Government of Rwanda transferred its shares to the Fund.
He participated in the mobilization of more than 70% of the total addition funds. Presently, he is part of an executive team that manages the Agaciro Development Fund – Rwanda Sovereign Wealth Fund, with the total assets worth of more than 240 billion Rwandan.
